Here is my no nonsense ladder.

Under about 50 to 60 per TB: grab it, that is a genuine deal.
Around 70 to 90 per TB: normal, fine, move on.
Over 110 per TB: you are paying for marketing, not speed.

Flash has got dramatically cheaper. So a “cheap” SSD from two years ago is now just an expensive one.
